DARK CHOCOLATE SAUCES

Four Delectable flavors of our famous dark chocolate sauce
made with 65% dark chocolate that we have imported from
Manhiem, Germany.  These sauces add a delectable appeal to
ice cream, waffles, pancakes, coffee, or as a dipping sauce for
fruit, or biscotti.

flavors.

Ingredients:  Chocolate (chocolate liquor, sugar, cocoa butter,
soy lecithin), cream, cocoa, sugar, cream of tartar, (may contain
orange, vanilla, almond, or peppermint extract).

DARK CHOCOLATE CRISPY STRAWBERRY PIE
½ cup Donya Marie’s Dark Chocolate Ultimate Gourmet Sauce (original flavor)
1/3 cup bitter-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups crisp rice cereal
¼ cup dairy sour cream
1 quart strawberry ice cream

Butter an 8” pie plate; set aside. In medium microwave-safe bowl combine chocolate syrup with chocolate chips; microwave on
high for 45 seconds or until hot. Stir until smooth. Remove ¼ cup chocolate mixture to small bowl; set aside. Add cereal to
remaining chocolate mixture and stir to coat; cool slightly and press mixture evenly into bottom and up the sides of pie plate.
Place in freezer for 20 minutes or until firm. Combine reserved ¼ cup of chocolate mixture with sour cream. Spoon half the ice
cream into pie, drizzle with chocolate sauce.  Top with scoops of ice cream and remaining sauce.

DARK CHOCOLATE JALAPENO BACON BLANKETS
6 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1/3 cup Donya Marie’s Dark Chocolate Ultimate Chocolate Sauce (original flavor)
1 Tblsp of Donya Marie’s Dark Chocolate Meat Rub (double or spicy flavor)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
12 slices bacon

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Boil the peppers after cleaning them for 4 minutes, then soak them in cold water another
3-4 minutes before making and grilling. Mix Donya Marie’s Dark Chocolate Ultimate Chocolate Sauce (original flavor) and Meat
Rub with the cream cheese. Spread cream cheese mixture to fill jalapeno halves. Wrap the jalapeno peppers with the bacon.
Secure with a toothpick.

Place on the grill, and cook until bacon is crispy. You can also bake these instead of grilling. Uuse a broiler pan to give the
grease somewhere to go. 325° for about an hour.

TURTLE CHEESECAKE w/DONYA MARIE’S GOURMET CHOCOLATE SAUCE
1 ¾ cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 pkgs. (8 oz. Each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
3 Tblsp lime juice
1 Tblsp vanilla extract
1 ¾  cup semi-sweet chocolate (chips or grated)
4 Tblsp Donya Marie’s Gourmet Dark Chocolate Sauce (your choice of flavor)
½ cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts

PREHEAT oven to 300 degrees.  Grease 9” spring form pan.  

Combine chocolate graham cracker crumbs and butter in medium bowl.  Press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of pan.

Batter 1:  Beat cream cheese and milk in large bowl until smooth.  Add sugar, eggs, lime juice and vanilla extract; beat until
combined.  

Batter 2:  Microwave 1 ½ cups chocolate (grated or chips) in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on High power for 1
minute; stir.  If needed, heat additional 10-15 second intervals, stirring just until chocolate is melted.  Stir 2 cups of batter into
melted morsels mix well.  

Alternately spoon batters into crust, beginning and ending with yellow batter.  

Bake 70-75 minutes or until edge is set and center moves slightly.  Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; run knife around
edge and let cool completely.  Drizzle Donya Marie’s Gourmet Chocolate Sauce on top.  Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate.  
Refrigerate several hours.  Remove side of pan.

Hot Mocha Milk
¾ cup of milk
3 tbs Donya Marie’s Ultimate Dark Chocolate Sauce
½ tsp espresso coffee
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Chocolate Whipped Cream
1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
2 oz. Chocolate sauce

In a chilled bowl, whip chilled cream until slightly thickened with a hand mixer or whisk. Add chilled chocolate sauce and
continue to whip until fluffy peaks form.

Peppermint Whipped Cream
1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
2 oz Peppermint syrup

In a chilled bowl, whip chilled cream until slightly thickened with a hand mixer or whisk. Add chilled Peppermint syrup and
continue to whip until fluffy peaks form.

Hot Chocolate Toddy
One cup hot Milk (whole milk gives better flavor)
2 tablespoons Donya Marie’s Ultimate Dark Chocolate Sauce (your choice of flavor)
1 oz ("Shot") good quality Brandy or Cognac

Preparation:
In a large glass coffee cup, mix all ingredients (except Whipped Cream).  Top with Whipped Cream.
